As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. And eat tacos.

Hola de Mexico

We made it! And the trip was fantastic and Noah fell asleep as we were taking off both times and slept almost the whole time. Thank you for your prayers! We met Sean and Jeni and their two children Sarah and Philip. They are all so nice and welcoming. We've already ridden in two taxis without incident and are beginning to find our way around. Our apartment we are renting is fabulous! We are renting it from a woman named Gloria. She and her son could not have been more friendly and accomodating. We have everything we need and more. We will post more pictures as we get them. Sean and Jeni fed us dinner at their home and it was delicious! I could get used to this.

We love you, and we wish great things for you.

And we're off...

Tomorrow morning our team will step onto an airplane headed for Mexico City. We are going to Mexico to share what we know about Jesus with others. We met up with Lacy (our teammate) today for another day of training before we go. She is so nice, and such a strong Christian. We are all so excited about what God is doing in our lives, and we are ready to get to work! Noah was a trooper today. We went on a scavenger hunt as part of our training and he seemed just fine on the run. He is an excellent ice-breaker in conversations. For part of our scavenger hunt, we began a conversation easily at lunch with a woman who was born in Taiwan. She gave us some advice on how to be culturally sensitive in her home country. Isn't it cool that Noah is helping do the Lord's work at 9 mos. God is amazing!

until we're in Mexico,

Jeff
